At DB Training & Behaviour we offer canine behaviour modification to help you resolve any issues you are having with your dog. These can be anything from pulling on the lead to reactivity to others animals or humans. Once the cause of the behaviour is identified, we can support you through rebalancing your dog by working with you on a one to one basis, either at your home, our secure training field or out on normal walks, and also in some specifically focussed group classes to deal with issues such as reactivity/aggression to other dogs or humans. We can also help train you and your dog in general obedience work if there are no behavioural issues.
As well as these services, we are able to walk your dog in the local area, and give you the option to rent our securely fenced training field in Headley (private rent only, no dog walkers, day care or trainers) where you can work with your dog and build confidence in handling techniques in a quiet environment without distractions.

New group classes starting Saturday 21st October. The classes are designed to help owners gain focus and control of their dog, and for their dog to be properly socialised and be able to be around other dogs in a controlled way. They are run in a secure field, and are suitable for any age/type of dog, with issues such as over excitement around people/other dogs, reactivity to other dogs/animals and poor recall around distractions. (Reactivity around people will initially need to be addressed separately). There are many ways to help a dog, but we work on establishing a good healthy bond between dog and owner so that their dog listens and wants to behave, and teach the dog their boundaries and the rules to follow so that they make better decisions. We help owners realise that their ‘problem’ is not unique even though they may feel they are the only ones suffering. Sessions are an hour long, at a cost of £75 per dog for 6 sessions.
