£45 callout (we come out to your home, in our fully equipped mobile service vehicle with a trained white goods engineer) and this includes up to the first hour labour of the repair. Why £45? We do not think this is not a lot to pay for a genuine engineering professional. Someone who has the knowledge, skills, safe working practices and tools/solutions/parts to fix your appliance problems in your home. We would like to do it for less (we often get asked to match some cheaper alternatives out there) but we cannot do it for less, our business would fail - as a genuine business, we habe genuine overheads. We are not a "fly by night". We have to pay the tax man, fuel the van, buy parts, buy tools, pay insurances, pay subscriptions, pay for new training - same as other genuine businesses both big and small. Others (especially those without a legitimate business page or public website) may be offering callouts for nothing or a very low fee but we cannot match this...so please do not ask. Regards the cheaper alternatives... We ask you - to REALLY ask yourself, before parting with your cash?... why low or free callouts are available from others... Are they not trained/do they actually know what they are doing with your appliance, will your appliance be left safe to use (crucial when dealing with mains electricity), are they a genuine business or are they not paying tax (hence the low or free callout fees). No genuine repair company can attend calls for free... NONE. Ask yourself if they will be there in a week or two when perhaps the problem re-occurs or something else breaks or happens with your appliance. When you hand over a small sum of money now and the machine breaks again in a week or two - will it feel like a bargain then? Will they re attend, will they charge a fee to re attend, will you take a day off work and they not turn up?
