The last day of school is always bitter sweet. We will miss our students over the summer. Have a wonderful break!
Mrs. Wimberly's 4th and 5th grade science class converted pizza boxes into solar ovens! They worked hard and got rewarded with the s'mores they cooked in the oven! The students watched a step by step video and discussed it with their partners. Then, the groups had to write down materials and procedures to follow. After the writing activity, they made the solar ovens following the procedures they wrote down. It was tons of fun and amazing to see the results!
