The Gathering of the Greens is fast approaching! This year's evening entertainment includes a Fire Labyrinth and 7 piece Country Band. If anyone is interested in demonstrating a craft or running a stall during the daytime then get in touch!

A Gathering of Deere Friends! Parc Grace Dieu Farm, The Hendre, near Monmouth, NP25 5HJ July 1st 2017 The Gathering of the Greens is a group of John Deere Tractor enthusiasts and will be holding their 8th annual event on July 1st at Parc Grace Dieu Farm, The Hendre, nr Monmouth, NP25 5HJ, South Wales courtesy of local John Deere dealer Frank Sutton. All are welcome to join us in our gathering to celebrate everything Deere in true Western style throughout the weekend. All types of John Deere tractors, gators and implements are welcome with a £10 entry fee. The Gathering commences at 10:00am July 1st where you can participate in a 5 mile tractor ride with photograph opportunities of The Black Mountains and surrounding countryside. Lunch will be a hog roast alongside an authentic John Deere chuck wagon and camp. Prizes are awarded for entries including new classes this year for Vintage (1918-1974) and Classic (1974-1994) John Deere Tractors. There is plenty of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including The Mini Digger Challenge, Farm Tour, Cowboy Entertainment, Country Craft Tent, Chainsaw Sculptures, Crafty Deere and the Young Engineers Competition. All ages are welcome to enter the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl competition at the evening gathering! There will be a Western Theme throughout the weekend with a chance to explore the farm and its wildlife including the Grace Dieu Longhorn Herd, White Park Cattle and real American Bison, all in keeping with the American origin of the tractor. The evening gathering is a chance to light up your barbecue alongside cowboy entertainment and fire display and for those camping overnight then Sunday morning will begin with a cowboy’s breakfast around the campfire.
