As many of you are aware, I have not been at the Bread Shed now for a few weeks. It is with a heavy and reluctant heart that I have decided to cease trading. I want to thank my regular customers for their continuous support throughout the years. As many of you know, there has been bread competition at Faversham Market, but we (against all odds) struggled and survived. I thank you for that. I am a strong believer in moving on and embracing the next challenge in life. Through this business, I have met and made some lovely friends and hope we stay in contact. Haven't managed to shake off winter illness and been advised not to work today. Sorry to all my regular customers and look forward to seeing you all next week. Xx

The Bread Shed will be trading at the Hop Festival (Faversham Market) tomorrow and we will have lots of our goodies, especially our homemade pizza and rum and lime bread pudding. It's always a unique atmosphere and a place where people can let their hair down. Look forward to seeing you all.

Hi all, just to let you know I am still in France enjoying everything that wonderful country has to offer. Seen some new baking ideas from my connections here and look forward to introducing them to the Bread Shed. I will be back trading on Saturday 20th August and look forward to seeing you and sharing my news.

Looking forward to baking lots of yummy sourdough pizza for Faversham Market tomorrow. I intend to have nettle bread with my soup today and you can buy freshly baked nettle bread from us in the morning. Weather certainly looks promising! See you tomorrow.

Thank you for all the messages wishing me well. I am resting and gradually feeling stronger. I am reading a book that I can't put down ( The God of Small Things) by Arundhati Roy. Beautiful prose and extremely moving, recommend it. I hope to be back at work on Friday. Xx

Happy New Year! Unfortunately the Bread Shed won't be open today because I am on more medication for a lung infection that has returned. Very painful but at least it's being treated and should improve in the next few days. Look forward to seeing you next week x
