Description

The Pub in a Club is a friendly bar that has taken over the old Badsey and Aldington British Legion premises in Badsey's High Street and welcomes everyone. We welcome all new and old customers to the club.

Families with children are more than welcome too, although we just ask that children are supervised by an adult at all times.

Unacceptable behaviour will not be welcomed and you will be politely asked to leave. We aim to welcome all and in doing so we must respect other visitors to the club to ensure our club remains a relaxed and happy environment for all to be in.

Thank you for your understanding.

😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀Apologies in advance for this long message 😃 Freedom disco have very exiting news.....we now have a minibus 🚌!!😃😃😃😃 It's not even 12 months since my hubby and I in a drunken state decided we would set about fundraising for the disco equipment putting the very first of many Facebook pleas which got us enough money in just a week to purchase the equipment and get started this is because of the kindness and belief people showed us. I've said in previous posts that we've been very lucky with the kindness and generosity of people, it just doesn't seem real that 6 months is all it's taken us to get the money, not bad for a small unknown group. My next challenge is to do other projects where we can get the attendees doing things , interacting with the public and gain confidence. With transport now there's going to be no stopping us. Freedom disco is one big family and they really do pull at your heart strings making you determined to make their lives the best it can be within our limits. Everyone whose visited us all walk out feeling this. Seeing them have a good time, expressing themselves but all in a safe environment. So again to each and everyone of you whose donated money, raffle prizes attended our fundraising events help us at these events from the bottom of my heart a massive thank you. We still need you though so please don't think my begging has finished. We need to fund the bus and also fund future projects. So the fundraising continues. Sorry guys😊 Lots of love and gratitude sent from everyone involved in freedom disco xxxx

New Comedy Night Launches in Badsey, nr Evesham Fresh from winning the Best Small Club award at the 2016 Midlands Comedy Awards, Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at various venues all over the country, is excited to announce the launch of their brand new comedy night at the The Pub In A Club, Badsey on Friday March 18th. Funhouse Comedy Clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to fame and fortune include Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.” Headlining the launch will be the very funny and relaxed Andy Robinson. Starting his life as a musician he then moved into comedy. Having worked as a warm up artist for TV shows including, ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’, ‘Shooting Stars’, ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and ‘Jonathan Ross’, he is also known as comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act. He draws his audience into his world and then surprises them with his amusing tales. . Supporting is the somewhat loud and confident Ben Schofield with a lively and animated delivery of his unique tales and punch lines. His sometimes off-colour and to some extent bizarre thinking, is both clever and ridiculous at the same time. Also appearing will be James Cook. An award-winning commercial radio presenter and stand-up comedian his laid back attitude, dry sense of humour and sharp tongue are a rare mix that always captivates his audiences. Compere for the night will be the vivacious, naturally funny Lou Conran. Having trained as an actress she has appeared on TV and in theatre in the likes of ‘Jo Brand Through the Cakehole’ (CH4) and ‘The Borrowers’ (National Tour).
