It may have been a busy Friday for you at work or school (it has been here!) and you're ready for the weekend. So to start it off we bring you the adorable Rudy! This handsome chap has just finished his puppy vaccines and will very shortly be walking in the big wide world!

The Story of Dudley the Dachshund Dudley is a very photogenic young puppy, who was recently not feeling himself with occasional sickness and diarrhoea. After a very a particular nasty day of pain he was x-rayed. On the x-rays there looked like there was something abnormal in his intestine (inside the yellow circle). The decision was made to take Dudley to surgery. During surgery, several pieces of plastic were removed from his intestine (see picture). We here at White Lodge wish Dudley a speedy recovery.

DENTAL X-RAYS We now offer specialised dental x-rays here at White Lodge Lodge Vets. This is very useful tool as it can help spot painful fractured or diseased teeth when they appear almost normal on the outside. As you can see from the picture below the tooth labelled 1 in the lefthand picture appears almost normal. On the x-ray picture in the yellow circle you can see that the root is fractured.
