Last month the Australian Prime Minister, The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, paid tribute to the dedicated work of the Aurora Education Foundation in supporting Indigenous Australian scholars. St. Edmund’s is proud to support Aurora’s valuable work. In 2016, Olivia Slater, an Indigenous Australian scholar, joined the College to read for an MPhil in Social Anthropology. She is now undertaking doctoral research on the rise of Indigenous performances as public displays of self-determination.
