Earlier in August I had the pleasure of two beautiful people from Sydney on the walk. They were Jeremy & Natalie Ambrose(brother & sister). They had come to Tralee to visit their aunt in Tralee after they had attended the International Youth Congress in Poland. At the Rose of Tralee Monument Natalie discovered her friend's name on the monument as a Sydney Rose a few years ago. they were very interesting to talk to. On July 30th, parents of a Spanish student, who was in Tralee to learn English, decided to come over from Spain to get to know more about the town that their son was in. I was happy to obligue.They were intrigued to learn about the MIlesians & the Spanish association as they had come across the name when they took a trip around the Ring of Kerry a few days before. This morning I had six visitors from Southhamption, Manchester, & Yorkshire Dales and a visitor from Co Meath take the Historical Tour of Tralee Town. They were delighted to find out about the history of Tralee Town & I hope are tonight enjoyingsong & dance at Siamsa Tíre. They even tried the replica horns - to see how they sounded !!!!

On Monday I had the pleasure of taking Erin Margetts, from Maidenhead, around Tralee, giving her an insight into the history of Tralee for the last 800 yrs. Erin was cycling around the South West & at this stage she is on her way to Co Kildare. She was hoping to find the High Cross at Moone! Breda
