Lovely to catch up with the Dungarvan Mens Shed this morning in the Interlude Cafe, Dungarvan Harbour for our annual festive coffee catch up. Hat tip to the men who did not make it as they were apparently very busy elf’s helping Santa with some last minute toy assembly! These men were also responsible for the Elf Kingdom and many other Dungarvan Aglow initiatives for Christmas in Dungarvan Merry Christmas to one and all!

November is always a great month for awards, and two weeks ago on a Friday night 5 of our county Hurlers received their All Star Awards, numerous businesses received the Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber Of Commerce FBD awards and just this week Dungarvan has achieved recognition as an Enterprise Town boxing well above it’s weight and of course we had our friends in The Moorings winning a Global pubs Award last month. Who said this was a dead time of year? Roll on Christmas in Dungarvan and best wishes for the Dungarvan Aglow event on Sunday in #Dungarvan

Good result for Dungarvan, and a great result for Tralee Town who beat us in our category and went on to win the overall prize. This bodes well for Dungarvan, well done to all concerned in the bid for recognition of Dungarvan as a premier Enterprise town
