New audio work up on podcast page from performance/ visual artist Noel Molloy. 'DA DA MA MA THE CHILD RISING'. The work is from a performance created on the 17th December 2016 around Roscommon Town and finished at the REDDOT exhibition in Roscommon.The performance is a reaction to the commemorations of 2016.

thirty three – 45 – no mission statement – no grand plan

A little look back on what we got up to in the year gone and then to the bright new year that is 2017. 2016 saw our webpage get a make over, we think its looking great.... although we will still be tweaking it as we grow. The podcast page is now downloadable and we've been adding a lot of new stuff to the 'Augmented Ear' radio loop. We booked David Holmes for the Drogheda Arts festival in May and the man did not disappoint. 2016 also saw the release of our first split cassette release from 'Arc Pioneer &' the Joy Fracture' which we are very proud off - a labour of love that i'm glad to say sold out of all it's 50 art box editions. We also made two video's to accompany the release. We were delighted to add modest support to Upstate Theatres & Seamus Nolan's project 'Subvert all power- Drogheda's Punk History' and were chuffed with the quailty of works submitted for our podcast page. On a personal note my exhibition of reappropriated record sleeves 'I'll be your mirror' was held at the RHA Ashford Gallery. Noel is now a yoga guru????? For 2017 we already have a lot in the pipeline. We recieved a bounty of quailty music/ sounds for consideration for further cassette releases, so we hope to get a couple out in the not too distant. We already have our project for this years Arts Festival booked and its a cracker... plus we still have other ideas that we are still cooking. She has created two podcasts,the first based on 'Mermaids' and the second on 'Silence'. ( these are great to listen to on headphones )You can also stream the 'Subvert all power' Drogheda's punk history - a project collaboration between 'Upstate Theatre' and artist 'Seamus Nolan' based on the effect of punk in a small town.
