Cardmaster Ryan here, bringing you the schedule for the week to come! Good Times Games is back at it again for another week! The Carnival was in town last weekend, but that didn't stop us from a massive weekend of Dungeons and Dragons, the Final Grand Prix Trial for Magic the Gathering, and a handful of birthday parties. It was crazy and that craziness continues this week. We get the opportunity to end this week with Mother's Day! We here at Good Times hope you gamers get the chance to thank your awesome moms for all they do! And for the moms who ARE the gamers, well, that is the best of both worlds, and we are thrilled to have you around! Lets jump into the schedule for this week shall we? ** Tuesday - Magic the Gathering Draft ** 6:30pm - 10:00pm We had a VIP event on Saturday, and a GPT Sealed event on Sunday that were both blasts, and the crowd has spoken, and asked for more drafting! Join us at 6:30pm on Tuesday for some more Amonkhet Drafting. This is a rare re-draft this week. There will be prizes and promos for all playing! ** Wednesday - Open Tables / Final Fantasy TCG Demos ** 5:00pm - Close We will have the tables open for gaming of all kinds. Ryan will also be on hand trying a few games of the Final Fantasy TCG if you are interested in learning. The game is quick and easy to play, and has some surprise factors like we so enjoyed in Kaijudo! ** Thursday - YuGiOh Casuals ** 5:30pm - 8:30pm YuGiOh! is back on the menu this week, as we look to try a little more casuals. A new set dropped last week and there are some new cards floating around. Come on down and join us for a casual Thursday of YuGiOh! $5 gets you in with prizes for everyone who plays. ** Friday - Pokemon Play! League Action ** 3:30pm - 5:30pm We have had some awesome turnouts the last couple weeks, and hope that this week is just as great! Pokemon has been booming here in Prince Rupert, with numbers getting as high as 35 in attendance after school! $7 joins the fun and there is prizes for everyone! We will have some promos etc on hand as well! ** Friday - Magic the Gathering - Standard Constructed ** 6:30pm - 10:30pm Game Day is just around the corner, and we want to give the players more Standard opportunities! Come play an evening of Magic with a great group and get some practice in for the Game Day tournaments next weekend! $10 joins the fun with prizes and promos for all who make it out to play! ** Saturday - Magic the Gathering Standard Showdown ** 1:00pm - 4:30pm Standard Showdown was awesome last week with a bunch of different decks being shown off. I LOVE the variety of decks that are being played. $10 again for this afternoon - prizes, promos and Showdown packs are up for grabs! ** Saturday - Sunday ** Dungeons and Dragons - Heroes of Hawethorne Adventures We are back for another weekend of Dungeons and Dragons adventures. Official scheduling goes up Tuesday at 3:30pm but if you are interested in playing, give the store a call and we can see what we can do to get you in on the biggest craze for kids at Good Times! What a week indeed! There are plenty of things for kids of all ages (and adults) during the week. I believe we have a movie night this Friday as well, so stay tuned for details about that dropping on Tuesday! Monday - Adult Heroes of Hawethorne D&D 6:00 to 10:00 The adventures continue for our awesome Adult Heroes! The session is likely full, but new heroes are always welcome to find out more and join the fun down the road. No D&D or role playing experience required! Tuesday - Magic Amonkhet Draft 6:30 to 9:30 The new set is out and players are excited about it. Come join the fun Tuesday as we Draft the new Amonkhet set at the shop for Tuesday Night Magic! $20 to get into the fun, Rare Redraft in effect so there is a good opportunity to pick up some of the cards you need from the new set. Wednesday - Open Gaming The tables are yours, grab a friend and come sling cards, play a miniatures game or try one of the store demo board games! Thursday - Yugioh Duels 5:30 to 8:30 We missed a week but are back on track for Thursday Night Yugioh again this week! $5 to get into the fun, new players always welcome and there will be some prizes up for grabs too! Friday - After School Pokemon 3:30 to 5:30 Last week we set a record for Pokemon attendance over the Pro-D Friday, so now is the perfect time to come join the fun! New players are always welcome, we can teach you to play. Just $7 to join us after school and we always have a prize for everyone who comes to play! Friday - Friday Night Magic 6:30 to completion The new set is out and the format is Standard Constructed for Friday Night Magic this week! $10 to join us and there are always promos and prizes up for grabs! New players always welcome! Saturday - Heroes of Hawethorne D&D Sessions Saturday and Sunday to be announced The "Vendin-Mak" Saga has just come to a conclusion and now we will be starting a new series I am calling "The War at Sea" that will take our heroes out onto the Azure Sea to face off against Naval Marauders from the Pomarj who have been attacking shipping vessels coming into and leaving Buxton! Saturday - Magic Standard Showdown 1:00 to 4:30 The Standard Showdown starts again this week with Amonkhet focused packs up for grabs! Format is obviously Standard and it is $10 to join the fun Saturday afternoon! Come join the action! Saturday - Magic Good Times VIP Draft 6:30 to completion A special event to show our appreciation to those loyal customers who preorder their product with us! The VIP this time out will be a Draft Format taking place Saturday evening. It is by invite and only open to those who make their preorder for Amonkhet product with us! Sunday - Modern Masters Sealed GPT 11:00 to 6:00 The last chance to participate in a Sealed with Modern Masters packs here at Good Times! This is also for byes at the Vegas GPT and should be a pretty sweet event. $100 to get into this one, but with the last of our Modern Masters Packs in the pool this should be a very special event. Spring Break rages onward here at Good Times! PC time cards still on special, game rooms available, camps, plus all kinds of fun stuff happening all week long! Check this action out...... Monday to Thursday - Spring Break D&D Camp 1:00 to 5:00 each day Session filled in near record time, but if this sounds awesome keep your eyes out for our D&D Summer Camps to be announced very soon! Monday to Thursday - Spring Break Gamers Camp 1:00 to 5:00 each day We had 12 join us today for Gamer Camp and we had an awesome time! Broke out into two groups for some Cockroach Poker, then united with the D&D Camp to go to the Court House for some Live Action Archery and Sword Fighting! The kids are absolutely loving spending the afternoon with Olivia, Hannah and I. Monday - Adult D&D Adventures 6:00 to 10:00 The adult heroes are enjoying an adventure that will take them into the mysterious Suss Forest this week! Our adult groups are pretty awesome, but we have room to take on more so if you are interested, come talk to DM Ryan about how you can get involved. Tuesday - Magic the Gathering Draft Night 6:30 to 9:30 We are still up in the air about what kind of Draft to host. Some like the idea of a Chaos Draft, others want to take another shot at some juice in a MM2017 Draft. One way or another, we will be Draftin' this Tuesday night Wednesday - Dinner and Movies 6:00 to 10:00 Spring Break so we are staying up a little later and enjoying two unbelievable classics! The 1977 Animated version of the Hobbit and the 1978 Animated Lord of the Rings! Pizza Dinner is included and we have room for 16 to come get cozy and enjoy some awesome movies! Onezies, Jammies and Comfy Stuff totally encouraged! Wednesday - Star Wars X-Wing 6:00 to 9:00 The Rebel, Empire and Scum are gathering for some skirmishes Wednesday evening at the shop! New players totally welcome, we can provide the ships and get you playing in no time. Only $5 to join the fun in this fast paced, easy to learn tactical miniatures game set in the Star Wars universe. Thursday - Yugioh Duels 5:30 to 8:30 Thursday seems to be the best day for Duels we are finding! Come join the action with new players always welcome to join our regulars for some casual Yugioh play. Friday - Pokemon City Championships 1:30 to 5:00 Our first official Prince Rupert City Championships take place this Friday with an extended play time! Who will stand as champion? Friday - Friday Night Hexbugs 6:00 to 8:00 The Hexbug action is alive this Friday at the shop! Boys vs Girls vs Parents in full effect and we will have prizes for everyone up for grabs. Saturday & Sunday - D&D Heroes of Hawethorne "The Ulek Pomarj Wars" Our Heroes are caught right in the middle of a major conflict between their beloved Ulek and the vile Bad Humanoids of the Pomarj. With fighting breaking out up and down the border as well as major offensives already taking place at Pinnacle Stronghold and the Settlement of Bohm, this weekend things get heated again as they are asked to target a military target of value South of Hawethorne! Session announcement will happen Tuesday at 5:30 so watch for it then. Saturday - Magic the Gathering Land Battles 1:30 to 5:30 We continue with Standard play with the special Lands up for grabs! Only $10 to bring your Standard Legal deck and get into the fun this Saturday. And this will bring us to the end of what has been a super fun spring break! Alright! Last week before Spring Break is upon us! Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Heroes of Hawethorne D&D The "A Friend in Need" Saga Finale Sessions Announced Tuesday This will be the finale of the recent adventure arc that has our heroes up against Doggnokk and his Bad Humanoids! Last week our heroes managed to save Salimar, now he can direct them to where Doggnokk and his nefarious gang of Bad Humanoids are holding Sunny! Should make for an exciting weekend of D&D. Friday - Friday Night Hexbugs 6:00 to 8:00 After an incredible Children's Fest we expect some new faces for Friday Night Hexbugs this week! The action takes place Friday from 6:00 to 8:00, a great social for boys and girls age 3 and up! Only $5 to join us and always a prize for everyone who comes to play! Friday - Friday Night Magic 6:30 to completion This week we shift back to Standard Constructed as players get a chance to practice up for the weekend "Land Battles" Just $10 to join us and always promos and prizes up for grabs! Saturday or Sunday - Magic Standard Land Battles 1:30 to 5:30 We aren't sure if it is going to run Saturday or Sunday just yet, but we do know it is happening this weekend! $10 to get in and the event counts towards the special Land Promos! Tuesday - Magic the Gathering Draft Night 6:30 to 9:30 We are looking to Draft Aether Revolt again this week, 2 Aether Revolt boosters and 1 Kaladesh for your $20 plus a Rare Redraft so the more that play the better you odds are at snagging a killer card. Come join the fun Tuesday night. Wednesday - X-Wing Skirmishes 5:30 to 8:30 We have had some fun lately with X-Wing, why not come check it out this Wednesday? Only $5 to join us and you don't need any product or even to know how to play! New players always welcome! Thursday - Yugioh Showdown 5:30 to 9:00 Yugioh has been picking up steam again, the new releases and new rules being unleashed has rekindled the desire to play! Only $5 to come join the action and we will put up prizes depending on how many come to play! Friday - After School Pokemon 3:30 to 5:30 Growing every week! Great for boys and girls age 6 and up, our trainers can teach you to play and get you into the fun! New players always welcome, only $7 and always a prize for everyone who comes to play Friday - Friday Night Magic 6:30 to completion A nice shift to Legacy this week for players! With Standard happening Saturday this is a great chance to break out that Legacy deck and come join the fun. $10 to play and always prizes and promos up for grabs! Saturday - Rob and some of his elves will be entertaining kids at the Civic Center for Children's Festival from 11:00 to 3:00. Hexbugs will be on the table as our Legendary Bugs compete for who is the best this year! Saturday - Magic Battle for the Lands! 1:30 to 5:30 Standard is the format and the prizes are special! Come join the Saturday action and have some fun slinging cards with us! $10 entry and like I mentioned we have some special prizing up for grabs! Sunday - Hero Realms Demo and Duels 1:00 to 4:30 We are in love with this game at Good Times! Sunday is the perfect day to come learn to play with us! Only $5 and we will have either character packs or a copy of the game up for grabs! Quick to learn, great for all ages and everything is included that you need to play right in the box! Come check it out Sunday! Also cross your fingers Saturday night as we attend the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards! Check out this lineup Tuesday - Magic Draft Night 6:30 to 9:30 We are launching another Aether Revolt Draft for players looking to have some fun Tuesday! $20 gets you all you need to play and into the action with a Rare Redraft giving players something to fight for! Wednesday - Dinner and Movies 5:30 to 7:30 We have been loving the new Star Wars Rebels animated series and are looking forward to showing episodes 11-15 this Wednesday Night!
