Today's the day! Join us for the opening of Clovis - the Caribou Hunters! We'll have helpers in the exhibit all day to demonstrate the activities and answer questions. Special family rate of $10.00 (for parents and children up to 6 people).

A sneak peak of Clovis - Caribou Hunters, our anticipated travelling exhibit opening at the Museum next Saturday, January 20th! Visitors can travel back in time to experience the lifestyles of the Clovis people, a paleolithic culture from 12,000 years ago. A wonderful adventure for kids (and adults) of all ages! (Please note the Ruth Harvey Art Gallery will be closed this week and next [Jan 10-19] as we install this exciting new exhibit!)

We're excited to announce that in January the Museum will be hosting a new travelling exhibit called Clovis, the Caribou Hunters, from the Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum in Quebec! The exhibit depicts the lifestyle of the Clovis culture, a paleolithic people from 12,000 years ago. Perfect for children and families, the exhibit includes many hands-on activities and educational highlights. More details to come in the new year!

CLOVIS — THE CARIBOU HUNTERS transports us 12,000 years back in time in the tundra to discover the lifestyle of the first nomads to have roamed the south-east of Canada. Then, it brings us back to present time, with the archaeologists who discovered and interpreted the clues of the passage of these first occupants. A great archaeological adventure for kids and families!
