Do you have a budding chef on your hands? Would you like your child to learn independence in the kitchen, but don't want to clean up the mess?! Or perhaps he or she is a picky eater and you would just really like it if they tried something new?! Enrol your son or daughter in our very popular Kids Can Cook- fun, interactive, and delicious classes that will inspire the chef in each of them! Every afternoon for 6 weeks they will work under adult supervision and guidance to create a 2 or 3-part meal, and 1 take-home snack, as well as enjoy some time in our indoor play space. Here are the details: -session runs Wednesdays, April 4 to May 9 inclusive, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm ​-this is an unparented program for children 5-9 years old; child MUST at least be in kindergarten, as well as under 10 yrs. at the first class (for equipment purposes). -cost for the 6 classes is $72 (+tax), which includes play, their meal, 1 take-home snack, as well as a recipe book and the child-safe knife they will be using. Full amount is due at time of registration, and may be made by cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, or e-transfer (minimum 7 days notice required for refunds, which will be issued in original payment form, minus $15 admin fee. Refunds of $10 each for individual classes once session starts will be given with minimum 24 hour notice.). -pre-registration required- please call the cafe directly at 250-723-0037, or email playcafe@telus.net. We need a minimum of 4 registrations (max. 6) to run the program, so tell your friends!
