Welcome to the Advent Season at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 33 Gale Street, Mortlake (9743 1017) We have some wonderful events planned for your children leading up to Christmas. On the first Sunday of Advent - 27th November - the children will decorate the Christmas Tree. Please bring your children along to the 9am Mass and afterwards help us to make our bare tree beautiful. We are planning to have our Children's Choir perform at the Christmas Eve Mass. We will have rehearsals every Sunday during Advent after 9am Sunday Mass in the Church Hall for 45 minutes. This is a really lovely addition to our Christmas Eve Mass and the children always enjoy a performance! If you would like your child to join in, please contact Megan on 0414 491 876. Every Sunday during Advent we will be having, as per usual, our Children's Liturgy. But at this special time, these liturgies ensure that your children understands the real meaning of Christmas. We welcome their involvement, their enthusiasm and their happy faces! If your child does not feel comfortable coming to Liturgy by themselves, please come with them - adults are also very welcome! Of course, our Advent Season ends with our celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The Children's Christmas Eve Mass (6pm) is a VERY special (and noisy) celebration of Christmas. We welcome all to be part of the Mass whether singing, being part of the Offertory, reading, listening or dressing as an Angel or Shepherd. For further information on how to be involved please contact Georgie on georgina.arrow@syd.catholic.edu.au or 0401083782. We look forward to you and your family being part of our St Pat's Masses. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Parish on 97431017 or see any helpers at Liturgy at Sunday morning Mass. Merry Christmas! God Bless You and Keep you Safe, St Patrick's Children's Liturgy Group

This would involve creating small figures out of wooden pegs and fabric. All materials, tea, coffee and cake will be supplied and no previous experience is needed! Your help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you at 28 Herbert Street (even if it is just for an hour). Monday 28th November 10am - 2pm or Thursday 1st December 10am - 2pm

We certainly were Buzzing With Fun at the Breakfast Point Spring Fair on Sunday! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello or find out some more information. It was great to see so many of our new parents and children who will be starting next year. The lolly guessing competition was a hit which was won by a very lucky little girl. For those interested the number was in the low 900's.
