facebook.comAs the country again wakes up to news of a terror attack, we pray for the victims who were attacked at a time of utter vulnerability as they prayed, and for the wider community of Finsbury Park. The Archbishop go Canterbury has this to say:
On the day the Church celebrates the presence of the Holy Spirit, we keep in our prayers those affected by the horrific events in London Bridge last night. May we continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to breakthrough and for the Kingdom of God to reign on earth and in our communities locally and across the world.
After a string of terror incidences last year, one of my tutors put together these words, which we are able to speak into the horrific events in Manchester last night. Our prayers are with the families and victims, with the police and government groups working hard to protect us. https://reverendally.org/2017/05/23/praying-for-manchester/
Notices for week beginning 23/04/17
Today's #LiveLent bible passage is Luke 23.55-57. Open your heart to embrace those living with constant uncertainty #HolyWeek #Lent:
Today is #GoodFriday, but what is it?
Today's #LiveLent bible passage is from Luke 6.12-13 #Lent #HolyWeek As we start the week, make time for stillness and quiet.
Yesterday marked the beginning of Holy Week (apologies for the lack of posts, I'm away again at a Christian conference). We are nearing the end of Lent and our minds are turning to the events leading up to the painful crucifixion and following that, the hope of the resurrection
Today for #LiveLent, take time to do a job you wouldn’t normally do to support the people you live with. Give your time in a spirit of grace
Break bread for #LiveLent Today. Give thanks to God for the bountiful food we enjoy. The accompanying bible verse is John 6.35
I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you, Philippians 1.3−4 #LiveLent
