Scanning underway this morning it’s not going to be a vintage year.

Sine back on the drafting gate after her big interview in Perth for the final stage of the lantra apprentice awards. She’s come along was since doming here as a fifteen year old, we are all very proud of her.

Great to see these three likely lads enjoying the straw pad we put out for the cows, very satisfying being able to help wildlife out whilst farming in an environmentally friendly way.

Thursdays job for James John and Garry was taking the rams away from the Ewes on the block we Farm in sutherland. We put this race in last year and it’s made handling sheep up there much easier. They were in decent condition despite recent weather, tups were tired and glad to get home for a break.

As the light starts to fade on the final day of 2017 we fill the feeders so that work is kept to a minimum over the next few days just in case we are below par due to excess 🥃. All the best to all our Facebook followers we can’t wait to get stuck into 2018!

February lambing Ewes getting some Tattie’s this morning, only five weeks till we start lambing! 🙈

Geese are starting to enjoy Italian ryegrass which ideally would be kept as an early bite for February lambers.
