Well what a few days, took a wee trip from Lossiemouth via Duncansby head, Cape Wrath and now settled in at Kinlochbervie. Thoroughly enjoyable trip round, a long couple of days but well worth it to travel round such a beautiful coastline, great fun skippering through the Pentland Firth, absolutely love this little boat 😊, cant wait to get diving. Thanks to all everyone for their help.

A weekend’s diving from Kinlochbervie or south to Kylesku/Lochinver, additional days available. North East Dive own and skipper Keltic Lady, a 10.5m offshore hard boat. She has been fully refurbished and offers a large heated cabin, toilet and dive lift (there is a kettle for teas and coffees). Your skippers are all commercially qualified to RYA/MCA standards and between them have a wealth of knowledge of marine wildlife, as well as qualifications in SCUBA diving and RYA instruction. http://www.northeastdive.co.uk/index.php The plan for the weekend is a 9.30 start on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Two days of diving are planned, with two dives per day. There are 10 spaces available at £50/per day to hire – with tank fills over and above if required. Kinlochbervie is known for its rich marine life, clear Atlantic water and dramatic scenery both above and below the water. We have a large number of stunning sites, ranging from big gullies to narrow, sheer walls and pinnacles to stunning rocky slopes with striking white sand. The abundance and variety of life is spellbinding. Visibility is generally 20-30m All diving is dependent on sea conditions (tides, swell etc) and weather conditions. Chris and Cathy have a wealth of knowledge of the area and if we are unable to get to a particular site there are plenty of alternatives. You will need to book your own overnight accommodation. There are B&Bs, a hotel and two sites for parking campervans, motorhomes, caravans.

One space available diving Loch Ewe next month, Loch Ewe is just north of gairloch and this trip offers the rare opportunity to dive there. Loch ewe has traditionally been an assembly point for Maritime trade. It was used as an assembly point for the Artic Convoys during WW2. Its also home to 2 NATO Z berths which allow NATO nuclear subs to return for servicing at any time.

Enjoy a few minutes of a rather stunning dive on the Narr last month 😊. She’s a steam ship, scattered over the sea bed in about 12-14m, one of my favourites in the Moray Firth. Heading back at the weekend, some spaces available.
