Camping at Cardewlees
Description
Family run Campsite situated 6.2 miles west of Carlisle and only 1.5 miles from the picturesque village of Dalston due to open in June 2017. Please like our page and follow our journey! Camping at Cardewlees will be opening shortly.
We will be a certificated site through the Camping and Caravanning Club. We are able to offer pitches for 10 tents and 5 caravans, each pitch is fully serviced with both water and electric.
The campsite over looks rolling farm land which is crowned by a view of local fells.

We are perfectly situated for visiting the Lake District with the North Lakes only being a 30 minute drive away. We are ideally situated for anyone wanting to complete the Cumbria Way, which is one of Britain's most popular long distance footpaths. The surrounding area also boasts a number of beautiful cycle paths.
Local amenities include a swimming pool, garage, Co-Op, number of restaraunts, play areas, banks and local traders.
We hope to offer our visitors a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy the sceneray and some quality time with your loved ones. We will be offering a breakfast service and activities for children.
Plans are underway for the installation of Wigwams in order to accommodate our visitors all year round. We hope to be able to offer our guests the opportunity to holiday with their horses in the near future.

Lots of campers booked in for Dalston BE. With one of them being a repeat booking 👏👏👏👏. In true equestrian fashion these campers are more concerned about their horses accomodation than theirs 🐎🐎🥂🥂🏕🏕

Lots of work has been going on at Camping at Cardewlees. This was a few weeks back when the water pipes were going in. Each caravan will have its own tap and electric making them fully serviced 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Serious post festival blues after a fabulous weekend at Kendal Calling with the family! So many amazing moments and so many lovely people met. Whenever we go away as a family it always makes me think how life gets so busy that you forget to appreciate each other and realize how amazing your kids are. Kate Nash was playing but I spent about 20 minutes looking at this little one just thinking that she is the cutest little thing I have ever seen and that I am so amazingly proud of the little person she has become!! Hope that our site offers others these moments (without the mud and the horrible toilets). Life passes us by way too quickly.
