Tw Braga Girls update : This morning the girls played Rosario at Ulidia. A thrilling game with plenty of goals for both sides. 16 in total. Due to the girls determination and skilful passing we walked away with a win of 10-6. The girls started and ended strong , with brilliant movements from defence up to striker . Want to say a big well done to our very own Amy bowe as this only being her 3rd match she was like a natural in defence. Well done girls !! Goal scorers : Emma⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ Gracie⚽️⚽️⚽️ Aimee ⚽️ Player of the match : Our goalkeeper Grace Davey. 05/06 Update A frustrating game for the boys this morning v North End and one ultimately we felt deserved of at least getting a point, but our performance overall not reflective of the 3-1 scoreline. First half was very scrappy as both sides tried to get into a rhythm on a difficult pitch, the ball at times caught under the feet. We took the lead from a fantastic move on the left, building from midfield, I think it was Nicklas getting a cross in to find Adam who finished well. North End remained dangerous and were always testing our back line, Scott making some excellent saves, but they eventually equalised close to half time on the counter to make it 1-1 at HT The second half opening proved difficult with our opponents getting two goals in quick succession, followed by a good response by the boys to put sustained pressure on them. A difficult task but a good spell saw numerous chances created, Adam hitting the crossbar from his corner, blocked shots and near misses. While frustrating, the creativity shown was excellent with intelligent passing and movement, the ball switched smartly out wide. North End remained a threat on the counter but the effort and play shown by all the squad is a big positive. FT 1-3 The boys shouldn’t feel disheartened today because although there are things to work on, the performance from everyone merited a better result. You can see at training a growing bond develop between the players and with time their efforts will be rewarded. 😃 Thank you to all coming down to support today and Mark’s dad for the post-match treats 😋 We say goodbye to Daniel, Niklas and Aatu and their families - we hope you enjoyed your time with us and will see you again soon! 🇫🇮 Coach David
