Atmospheric Reinvention - An Exhibition of works by Westmeath Artist, Chris Quinlan opens in the County Buildings, November 27th 2017 until 8th December, with official launch on Thursday 30th November at 6.00pm with a wine and cheese reception. Chris Quinlan is a dynamic impressionist artist originally from Co. Tipperary but now living in Kilbeggan. He uses multiple mediums to create his artistic expressions but predominantly specialises in oil on canvas, using a vibrant kaleidoscope of colours to capture the beauty & essence of nature with a deep textured design. The new collection is inspired by the beautiful landscape in the heart of our Irish midlands. This collection is the artist’s impression of the many lakes, landscapes and historical landmarks in Co. Westmeath. With his unique impressionistic style and technique, Chris expresses his emotions through the fragmentation of texture and colour, especially at this wonderful time of year with the multitude of Autumnal golden hues in nature.
