Outtake Community Media CLG (Company Ltd by guarantee)is a Not for Profit Social Enterprise. It has been set up and run with one aim in mind, to give everybody a voice. All to often when media is created about our community it's reactive media, media taken because something has happened and more often than not that thing that has happened is negative. We look to change that, we want to tell the positive stories of our communities. be proactive in getting the stories that matter to the community out.

Now that we are approaching September, the Evenings get darker and we look for something to do we turn to evening classes. This year we are running a course titled "Introduction to Digital Storytelling" Geared towards people with a story to tell this 6 week course will cover the following: Create a narrative for your story. Script & Storyboard your digital story Research content to add value to the story Principles of Video & Audio use in storytelling Using all the above skills to create your digital story Using social media to promote your story Classes is restricted to 10 participants and runs from 20th September, 7:30 - 9pm Cost €70 Thanks to Creative Ireland Longford for their support of this course
