The DBees are a non-profit, Discovery Bay community based, ice hockey club. Our program is available for all skill levels, ages 5 and up. We practice at the Elements Ice Rink in Kowloon every Saturday morning from 8:15 am to 9:45 am.  The DBees are a non-profit, Discovery Bay community based, ice hockey team. We are committed to the development of youth ice hockey in Hong Kong with members not only coming from Discovery Bay but throughout Hong Kong.  Beginning in the 2012-2013 season, we also expanded our program to include some participation from the Society for Community Organization (SoCO), a charity dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.  
Our program is available for all skill levels, ages 5 and up. In the 2013-2014 season, we have further expanded the program to include sessions for children at the Novice level, learning ice hockey for the first time.  We practice at the Elements Ice Rink in Kowloon every Saturday morning from 8:15 am to 9:45 am.  Our practice sessions concentrate on skating leading to developing all aspects of the game under a well-organized training format..

A fair number of our players also play for various teams in the Hong Kong City League, which provides regular games throughout the year.  For the past three years, the Club has entered a DBees’s team in the Hong Kong City League where we have a core group of players.  In addition, numerous players have played for the Hong Kong Selects in international tournaments including a team that represented Hong Kong in the 2012-13 Bell Capital Cup in Ottawa, coached by Stuart Winchester from the DBees.

At the end of the hockey season we  will also enter a team into the Hong Kong 5’ s Tournament. This is an International Tournament held at Mega Ice with teams participating from all over Asia and is the largest ice hockey tournament in Asia.
