Juhl & Ehrhorn ApS is a Danish shipping Company specialized within Chartering of Bulk, General cargo, Projects & Heavy Lifts,
Ship Agency and Stevedoring  Juhl & Ehrhorn I/S was founded in 1974 by J. Juhl Poulsen and L. P. Ehrhorn. From the very beginning, the company was heavily engaged in coaster operations, agency and stevedoring services in the port of Esbjerg as well as general chartering worldwide. As part owner, the company was deeply involved in the purchase, building and management of a fleet of 12 coasters, trading worldwide.


The company was also involved in delivering ships donated by Denmark to developing countries such as Bangladesh, Namibe and Mozambique. Over the years, well over 50 ships of various kinds were successfully taken from Denmark to their destination countries for delivery to local authorities. Juhl & Ehrhorn was also active in Nigeria, where business was conducted by a subsidiary company named Pre-Consult K/S together with a third partner. The Nigerian enterprise expanded rapidly, and in 1988 the partners agreed to split the companies, dividing the activities between them. As a result, J. Juhl Poulsen continued the shipping activities as sole owner and withdrew from the Nigerian operations.


In 2003 the company was transformed into Juhl & Ehrhorn ApS - a limited company - and, having sold the last vessel, a new strategy was adopted, reducing the range of activities to a more specialized and select pallet. Today the company focuses on agency, stevedoring and chartering services, specialising in project charters, heavy lifts and bulk cargoes, and operating time charter vessels for various principals.The company is based in the port of Esbjerg, a strategic gateway for various cargoes to and from Denmark. Over the years, the company has achieved international recognition as a highly efficient, service-minded and reliable partner in the shipping and chartering business.
