Works great with Steelhead too! Garlic Herb Salmon Bowls 🥑🐟🍅 If you're a Salmon Lover, then you gotta try this marinade! We were licking our Bowls with this one! These are GREAT for a quick dinner idea...but equally GREAT to pack up for your Food Prep this week! makes 4 servings Ingredients: 4 (4-5 oz.) skinless salmon fillets 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp dried oregano juice AND zest of 1 lime 2 Tbsps raw honey 1 Tbsp olive oil sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste FOR THE BOWLS: 2 cups cooked quinoa or brown rice 1 large ripe avocado 2 cups quartered cherry tomatoes 1-2 jalapeno peppers, sliced 3 green onions, sliced lots of fresh lime wedges Instructions: Place all of your salmon fillets in a ziploc bag or sealable container with the minced garlic, basil, oregano, lime juice + zest, honey and olive oil. Season with sea salt and pepper, then seal the bag and toss gently to coat really well. Allow this to marinate in your refrigerator for 30 minutes up to an hour.

Ingredients:

2 Tbsps raw honey
1 Tbsp olive oil
sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste

FOR THE BOWLS:

1 large ripe avocado
2 cups quartered cherry tomatoes
1-2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
3 green onions, sliced
lots of fresh lime wedges

Instructions:

Place all of your salmon fillets in a ziploc bag or sealable container with the minced garlic, basil, oregano, lime juice + zest, honey and olive oil. Season with sea salt and pepper, then seal the bag and toss gently to coat really well.

Easy Poached Egg Avocado Toast 🥑🍳🍅 You don’t need any butter, oil or non-stick spray to poach an egg 🙌 No burnt crispy, or rubbery edges either!👌 Poached eggs give you a warm yolk that's nice and runny without having to worry about whether the white is cooked.🤤 makes 2 servings . Ingredients: 2 free range large eggs 2 slices Ezekiel, sprouted whole wheat, or rye bread, toasted 1/2 ripe avocado 8 cherry tomatoes, cut in halves or quarters 2 Tablespoons toasted pine nuts 1/2 tsp chili flakes, or to taste 1/2 tsp dried oregano, or other fresh chopped herbs of your choice (i love fresh dill on these!) sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to your taste Instructions: Place two mason jar lid rings (without the center) into a medium pot. Fill the pot with water just barely above the lids. Add a tiny pinch of sea salt. Bring water to a rapid boil then turn the heat off. As the rings are laying flat on the bottom, very gently crack the eggs into each one. Turn off the heat, and cover for 4-5 minutes depending on your egg preference. Instructions:

Place two mason jar lid rings (without the center) into a medium pot. Fill the pot with water just barely above the lids.
Add a tiny pinch of sea salt.

Bring water to a rapid boil then turn the heat off.

As the rings are laying flat on the bottom, very gently crack the eggs into each one.

Turn off the heat, and cover for 4-5 minutes depending on your egg preference.

Meanwhile, divide your avocado among the 2 toasts and gently smash it with a fork. 
Gently place the poached eggs on top, add cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and season to your liking.
