Established 30 years, St. Rocco's provides specialist care for people with life limiting illnesses, and their families. Page is monitored Monday-Friday  St. Rocco's provides specialist care for people in the Warrington area with life limiting illnesses and their families.

Our aim is to help everyone have the best quality of life by providing care and support in a friendly, relaxed environment.

We are a Registered Charity. Our care is free at the point of access but it currently costs over £3.6 million a year to run St. Rocco's with only 22% of that amount coming from central sources. We are reliant on the generosity of the local community to help us to continue to care for our patients and their families.

Here's what people say about us:

" The staff are lovely, very caring. They are fun too just like friends, showing empathy and understanding......"

"All of my visitors commented on the wonderful atmosphere at St. Rocco's. I explained the secret, it's the staff , they are all wonderful....they make a real difference to people's lives and not many people can say that"

"You gave us strength when we felt weak, you gave us love when we felt down and you gave us comfort to make us feel that we could cope…."

We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to the entire team and look forward to seeing them on the night 😁

#CharityTuesday We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to Matthew who came into St. Rocco's over the weekend to drop off a cheque from the charity bowls tournament he held in memory of his grandfather, Alf ❤️ The event raised an amazing £540 and due to its success Matthew now plans on making it an annual event. "We nearly got rained on on the day but grandad did his bit and kept the skies clear for us," Matthew said of the day 😁 Thank you again to Matthew and to everybody else who took part in the tournament as well as everybody who donated. The money raised will help us to continue to provide our care and support to all of our patients and their families.

We've had a visitor over the weekend here at St. Rocco's! One of our lovely nurses spotted this heron perched just above our chapel and managed to take this snap before it flew away 🦅 It's always so lovely to see birds and animals visit the hospice and it's surrounding gardens. It's interesting to note also that in Native American folklore seeing a heron is a sign of good luck, wisdom and determination, which we think is very fitting for St. Rocco's ❤️

Our #FundraisingFriday post this week goes to the District Nursing team over in Birchwood who are taking part, as a team, in this year's Colour Bubble Fun Run in memory of a special friend and colleague ❤️🌈 One of the team, Joanne, told us that they were inspired to take part this year to support the work that St. Rocco's does in helping those with life-limiting illnesses and that running in memory of their friend was their way of remembering "an amazing, lovely caring lady, who gave us a lot of laughs and gives us the chance to make this charity event one to remember" We're sure the entire team will do a fab job of fundraising and we can't wait to see them cross the finish line! Good Luck ladies! 💛💚💙💜 To donate to the team's challenge please click here http://bit.ly/2L2w8BI

If you've ever visited St. Rocco's you may have seen how beautiful the stained glass window in our chapel is. The window is always so colorful and a lovely reminder of the beauty of the world 🌈 One of our members of staff was so inspired by the window that she produced this piece of artwork for a recent event, which we think you'll agree is as stunning as the window is. We always love to receive gifts and items like this and it's always so lovely to see that St. Rocco's is worthy of being included in such beautiful things ❤️ To view more of Karen's amazing artwork please follow and like her Facebook page Karen Zehren Art
