The end result will be a city centre that is vibrant, attractive, more pedestrian and cycle-friendly and accessible to all regardless of age or level of mobility.

From March 7 to 9, the relocation of water valves will occur during split shifts at the Liebig Street, Koroit Street intersection. Daytime work will be contained to the footpath allowing through traffic, while night works at the intersection will take place after hours (between 7pm and 5am) and will require a full intersection closure.
Liebig and Lava Street roundabout update
Day-time partial closures of the Liebig and Lava street roundabout will continue in March. From Sunday, March 5 Wannon Water works will affect the south-bound lane of Liebig Street. The intersection with Lava Street will be subject to a full closure from 4.30pm on Sunday and 5.30pm Monday. The works have been scheduled to occur mostly at night to minimise impact to shoppers. From Monday, February 20, work on the $15 million City Centre Renewal will progress to the roundabout at the intersection of Lava and Liebig streets. This will mean a partial closure of the roundabout from Monday to Friday, February 25, which will affect west-bound traffic moving along Lava Street. More information > https://goo.gl/LuUq0w
