It is the mission of Exceptional Kidz Rehabilitation to assist children in achieving their maximum potential in all areas of development. Exceptional Kidz Rehabilitation opened its first office in April 2012. In the summer of 2011, its owner, Monica LaSalle, learned of the unique needs of military members and their families to have access to rehabilitation services for their children in a location that was in close proximity to their homes located on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.

Monica, is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 20 years experience and the owner of Effective Communication Solutions, an Out-Patient Pediatric Rehab Center with 2 locations in Philadelphia, PA. Effective Communication Solutions has a stellar reputation in the city of Philadelphia as it has been recognized for its excellence in the care of children with Autism by City Council Members. She decided to start EKR in an effort to find ways to meet the needs of military families.

Exceptional Kidz Rehabilitation is unique as its services will be offered via traditional face to face delivery mode where possible, as well as, a Telemedicine model via internet for clients who are in remote locations or areas experiencing staffing shortages in these specific disciplines.

We offer Physical and Occupational Therapy Service to children birth through 10 years old. Speech is available to clients of all ages. Our staff offers experiences in the areas of Developmental Delay, Sensory Integration Disorder, Neurological Impairment and Insult, as well as, injury resulting in loss of Physical, Communicative and Cognitive functioning.
