With a heavy heart, following many sleepless nights, we are announcing that JB’s is officially for sale. Jack has accepted a job offer that he literally could not refuse. ‘Tis the Season to be jolly - and thankful. With a grateful heart, JB’s would like to take a moment to thank all of our customers for their support this past season. With the help of The Village of Worth, the Worth Public Library, Penny Lane, CIBC Bank, Jack and Pat’s Butcher Shop, the fundraisers with the Police Department’s Christmas in July, the Shout Out for Stephanie, and the Cub and Boy Scout Troops, JB’s was able to let a wider community know of our business. And on that note, we’d like to say welcome to our newest customers from Chicago Ridge, Oak Lawn, Palos and the surrounding areas. Thank you to our loyal customers of the Village of Worth for their ongoing support! We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Good morning ice cream fans! Today is Small Business Saturday and this small business is looking forward to seeing you all at the shop! We still have a few pies in the cabinet for that Holiday party, as well as some candied pecans and peanut or pecan brittle. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out! :-) To celebrate the day, come get a single scoop for $2 and a double scoop for $3! As we are nearing the end of our season, we'd like to encourage you to come on out and pick up some pints and quarts, or get that shake, malt or sundae while you still can! From our family to yours, we hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was a day of spending time with our families and friends, remembering the people and things in our lives for which we are very grateful! And as you begin your holiday shopping, remember that we will be open this weekend! We had a good day today at the Stagg HS craft and vendor fair, selling a variety of nuts and even a little ice cream! Come out tomorrow and stop by to say hello or stop by the shop to pick up some pints and quarts, pies or even a scoop or two. Jack made some White Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake ice cream (yes, that is the name of just one flavor!!) and some Chocolate Fudge ice cream, both of which will be ready for purchase tomorrow. He also made a couple of pies with the Chocolate fudge ice cream, so you can add them to the list of available pies! We've been told it's never too cold for ice cream - so who agrees? See you at the shop!!

The weekend has begun and the doors to JB's will be open by 1 (ish)! Come on in and grab a pint or a quart to take home, curl up under your throw and enjoy a nice end to the work week! Also, if you are out at the Craft and Vendor Fair at Stagg HS tomorrow or Sunday, you'll find us there! We will be selling junior cups of ice cream as well as Candied Pecans, Peanut Brittle, Pecan Brittle, Roasted Pecans and a Sweet & Spicy mix with Cashews, Almonds, Walnuts and Pecans in a variety of sizes. Lastly, there are still a few ice cream pies available for purchase, so if you want one of the following, message us and we will put it back for you - first come and all that! You know that German Chocolate Cake ice cream you all love so much? Well, we've been a little slow in give the winners of this year's flavor contest their well earned kudos, so here's to Melinda Baggett Merriman and Britany Banasiak for their wonderful suggestion. Thank you so much, ladies - from JB's and all of our customers that benefit from your creativity! The German Chocolate Cake is ready for you in pints and quarts. And you can add Nutella Brownie, Butter Pecan and Blueberry Muffin to the list as well. See you all at the shop!

Have I mentioned that JB's is now filling half of the dipping cabinet with pints and quarts of your favorites? This is our version of "take out"! 😁 So what's in there, you ask? Let's see... Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Apple Pie, Caramel Apple, Salted Caramel, Caramel Cinnamon Pretzel Swirl, Toffee Hot Chocolate, Butterfinger, Nestle Crunch, Banana Chocolate, Palmer House and German Chocolate Cake! The other half of the cabinet still holds your favorites for scooping, shaking, splitting and sundaeing. (Most of those are actually words!). In there you will find...Butter Pecan, Cinnamon, Peanut Butter with Reese's, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, MInt Chocolate, Caramel Apple, Coffee and Lemon, Mango and Orange Ice. So what's in the pint cabinet? There are some odds and ends of pints (there may be only 1 or 2 of the flavor) such as Maple Walnut, Sprinkles... The ice cream cookie sandwiches and ice cream pies can be found in there as well! Come on in and take a look.
