The Winchendon CAC Board of Directors is looking for new members! The Board meets once a month and is involved in the management of the CAC, fundraising, and support of the executive director. Any one interested in being part of the Board can contact Colleen for an application. 978-297-1667

Due to the upcoming weather the Parks and Recreation'a annual Easter Egg Hunt has been rescheduled for April 8. You all are invited to attend meeting at the Old Centre at 9:30 AM to follow the Easter bunny down to the militia field at 10 AM.

The Parks and Recreation Committee is hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 1st 10 a.m. at Old Centre. All are invited! Be there before 10 a.m. to be ready for the fun!

The Winchendon Parks and Recreation committee is looking for a volunteer to be Santa for this year's town tree lighting festivities on December 3rd 3:30-6ish. Needs to have own Santa suit. Due to delay in fresh produce, Thanksgiving day basket preparations have been canceled for Monday Tuesdayand rescheduled for Thursday Friday this week. Thank you to all those who will be volunteering on this day! No further volunteers needed at this time. Thank you!

The WCAC is looking for volunteers to help begin filling our Thanksgiving baskets for our families in need this holiday season on November 7th and 8th beginning at 9am. Please call the WCAC 978-297-1667 if you are interested in volunteering. Thank you!

The WCAC has 168 Thanksgiving baskets to fill for our wonderful CAC families this year. We have been blessed with 68 turkeys so far and are in need of many more. If you or someone you know is interested in donating a turkey or even a food gift card please bring donations to the WCAC Monday-Thursday 9am-1pm. The WCAC and Board of Directors would appreciate it. Thank you!
