The Richard C. Sullivan Public Library is an independent municipal library serving the residents of Wilton Manors for nearly 60 years. The Richard C. Sullivan Public Library of Wilton Manors is a full-service library offering a collection of over 40,000 items including books, magazines, and local and national newspapers. The Library also provides large print books, books in Spanish, music CDs, DVDs, audio books, and digital books and magazines. Internet access is available free of charge to residents.

The Friends of the Library is a private volunteer group that exists to enrich the cultural and educational opportunities within our community. The Friends provide funding for our extensive audio and video  and digital collections and also sponsor Library programs throughout the year. Membership applications are available at the Library and on the Friends' website (FriendsoftheWiltonManorsLibrary.org).

The children’s room offers materials in a variety of formats, computers, and staff ready to assist students with their homework and research assignments. Ongoing activities include storytimes, craft sessions, and other programs for kids. Summers also are filled with activities and events. The summer programs are subsidized by the Friends of the Library.

For your convenience, a copy machine and a fax machine are available for a small fee. A free book delivery service is provided weekly to residents who are unable to come to the Library. Voter registration forms are also available. Broward County residents may obtain a library card free of charge with proof of residency.

Art Gallery 21 is bringing the Smithsonian to Wilton Manors Don't miss this chance to see the traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibit, "The Way We Worked." Focusing on the relationship between work and our American culture, Gallery 21 will feature special programs and speakers as well. The exhibit will be at Gallery 21, located at 600 NE 21st Court, from March 25th to May 6th.

Florida crime-writing pioneer honored for work of a lifetime Edna Buchanan, who pounded the mean streets of Miami as a Pulitzer Prize-winning police reporter and later as a novelist, has received the 2017 Florida Humanities Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing. Judges praised her as the pioneer who wrote the book on modern Florida crime writing (including Edgar Award nominee "Miami, It's Murder").

Birds of Wilton Manors

Parks and Rec. Advisory Board member John Strohsahl and David Walker, President of the South Fla. Audubon Society, will speak at the Library about Wilton Manors' feathered residents and visitors. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the program will begin at 7 PM. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30.
