On June 8th, the Town of Hartford will be hosting the 2017 annual Downtown and Historic Preservation Conference. We are looking for 4 adult volunteers to help with directing cars in our satellite parking on Holiday Drive in WRJ from 7:00 – 11:15 AM. In addition to receiving many thanks, we can offer free admission to the conference (after 11:15), including lunch and the end of conference reception. The Wendell A. Barwood Arena is now closed for the 2016/2017 Season. Thanks to all our customers and visitors for a very successful season. Your patronage is greatly appreciated and we look forward to serving you next season.

We are going to delay opening of all Town Offices on Wednesday, March 15th. This includes the Wendell A Barwood Arena. This will allow our great highway team to keep up the great work with minimal interference.

Due to the inclement weather we are experiencing, the Hartford Parks and Recreation Office, including the Wendell A. Barwood Arena, will be closed today. All group reservations have been cancelled. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
