Briggs Opera House A Community Arts Center
Description
The Briggs Opera House is a wonderful place for a cornucopia of community arts and entertainment events. “Having an intimate space like the Briggs Opera House available for community performing-arts events in the Upper Valley is extraordinary,” Margaret Hunton, president of the board of directors for NCCT and stage manager for the new production, said last week. “There is a virtual cornucopia of performing-arts organizations in our region, and many of them don’t have a performance space or even rehearsal space to call home. … Spaces to bring that art to life are vital to the fabric of what makes our community vibrant.”
