Creepy Leyendas Author Mashup at the McAllen Book Festival! All are welcome to author mashup of creepy leyendas at the McAllen Book Festival, where authors David Bowles, Rene Saldana, and Xavier Garza will be discussing and reading from their books about local folklore.

Join us for some spooky fun as we lead you on a tour of the historic Villa de Cortez. We've been a tenant in this nearly-a-century old building for over 16 years and we've had our share of ghostly encounters! This is a ticketed event. Please use ticket link for tickets.
