Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Once again, we'd like to thank everyone who came out for the Open Mic Night Saturday evening, the performers and the spectators. We met some really great folks and it was a super fun time! Monday we'll have French Onion Soup for lunch as well as some grab and go sandwiches, salads and other snacks. Happy Monday to you!
