Texas Boys Choir, world class musical ensemble, sang at Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium December 2015 thanks to grant funding from National Endowment for the Arts and Texas Commission on the Arts. Other SMA APPLAUSE MUSIC SERIES Programs made possible due to NEA and TCA funding were Light Crust Doughboys , Gimbles and Friends, Los Texmaniacs, A'lonte Flamenco Ensemble, Hope Shiver, and in school and library artists Light Crust Doughboys and professional storytellers . NEA rural initiatives provide arts and culture where we need matching funds.
