Description
West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH), a 107 bed facility located in Sulphur, Louisiana, is governed by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and a five member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Police Jury. While the primary service area of WCCH includes west Calcasieu and northern Cameron parishes, patients from other areas of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas utilize the various services of the hospital.

Today marks the beginning of WCCH's Nurses & Hospital Week Celebration for 2017! As we look forward to a full week of activities to recognize the countless contributions of our employees, we began the week with a Board of Commissioner Kick-off, Blessing of hands and an employee appreciation breakfast! WCCH is now enrolling for Safe Sitter Babysitting Classes. The Safe Sitter program is a medically accurate babysitting preparation program designed for boys and girls ages 11 to 13. During the course, students will learn how to recognize medical emergencies, how to handle specific ages, prevent problem behavior and the business of babysitting. The cost to attend is $35. To register your son or daughter, or your child's babysitter, please call (337) 527-4361.
