In an effort to increase awareness of the stigma surrounding mental illness and raise awareness of support options in our local community, Rooster is going to be hosting a two week fundraising event where 40% of all sales from Ivan Pesic's original works will be donated directly to NAMI. National Alliance on Mental Illness's local chapter offers a range of services to those struggling with mental health problems in the greater Augusta area, from family to family support to a financial aid fund for those struggling with medical expenses associated with mental health problems. So if you are doing some redecorating, or just looking to invest in some art, head to Rooster between the 10th to the 23rd to support a good cause and give your living room that little extra je ne sais quoi.
