Parkway Cafe Parkway Cafe was established in 1993. It was the first restaurant on north Dirksen Parkway in a totally industrial area, surrounded by cornfields. Since then the area has grown to include a Super Walmart, Lowes, Menards, Big R, and 18 other restaurants. Parkway Cafe has become a local favorite, as well as a favorite for travelers up and down I-55 between Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO; many of which are stopping by to see the newest addition to the city, The Abraham Presidential Library & Museum.

Parkway Cafe is owned and operated by Leann Fox. After devoting four years as a waitress at Tops Big Boy, she saw an opportunity to open her own restaurant where she could treat customers how they deserved to be treated. Parkway Cafe strives to bring great food, at a reasonable price. At Parkway, we make the customers feel like regulars the first time they walk through the door.
