Rolling Stone Farm I EM Fhrance

I can't tell you how much it hurts me to put another round of my broodmares up for sale. They have been the foundation of my breeding success. If Jim and I are ever to retire, I have to start reducing my foal crop. All of these mares are reasonably priced in foal. I require a good home and a clause in the Agreement of Sale that I will have right of first refusal if ever sold and a clause for a humane end if not wanted/used for breeding. Here is the first one offered- one of my best- a STALLION MOTHER. Elite Mare Fhrance (Fabriano/Wonderful) in foal to Dheputy (Dauphin/Rotspon), USDF Stallion of the Year for 2013 and 2014. Fhrance was purchased at the 2001 Hanoverian Elite Mare and Foal Auction in Germany. At her mare inspection, she received an overall score of 7.33, with 8's for neck, foreleg, walk, and impulsion and elasticity in the trot. She also did the MPT in her three year old year as a green broke horse, receiving 8's for walk and trot, a 6 in jumping technique and 7's for everything else. Her final score was 7.05.Her sire is Fabriano, who won his 100 day test and is known as a producer of both dressage and jumping horses. SPT: Adelheidsdorf 1990, Overall - 133.02(1/36) Dressage -128.55 (4/36), Jumping -132.27 (1/36). Fhrance's dam, by Wonderful, was two times 1A at mare shows and scored 7.22 at her MPT. EM Fhrance has been a fabulous producer. She is dam to a LICENSED STALLION sired by Shakespeare RSF. The full brother to the foal she is carrying was named PREMIUM and a Stallion prospect by the GOV German inspector in 2015. The full sister to the foal she is carrying was named PREMIUM in 2016. She has also produced Special Premium Candidate Mare Shyriana, who was nationally ranked in the FEI 5 and 6 year old divisions with 8+ score- now doing fabulous PSG work as a 6 year old. Special Premium Candidate Shtiletto was named Young Prospect Champion at Dressage at Devon 2014 and is a multiple Breed Show and Materiale Champion, showing and winning now in 1st and 2nd level at age 5. Dheputy is sired by Dauphin, a Donnerhall son who is published in the yearbook of the German FN with positive points for dressage, riding horse points, and foundation. Dheputy’s dam is Elite Mare Rhussia, by Rotspon. She has already produced another stallion which was licensed by the AHS, Somer Hit, who has since gone on to be named National Champion FEI 6 year old in 2012, and who in 2014 is ranked 4th USDF Horse of the Year for Intermediate II. In 2015, he competed at Grand Prix successfully. At Dressage Breed Shows in 2013, Dheputy was named Stallion Champion three times, Mature Horse Champion three times, Grand Champion once and Reserve Grand Champion twice. He also competed in Training level and Materiale classes with scores up to 78.5%. He was the USDF Horse of the Year for Stallions in 2013 with a score of 82.050%. He successfully completed the 70 Day Stallion Test in OK in 2013, placing fourth overall, third in dressage and sixth in jumping. He scored a 10 for Character, 8 trot, 9 walk and 8.5 canter. In 2014, he continued his winning ways, competing at training and first levels with many wins and scores up to 73% and he again was Stallion Champion at three Dressage Breed Shows. He was named 2014 USDF Horse of the Year for Stallions for the second year in a row with a score of 80.750%. His first foals were born in 2015- a filly named Premium by the GOV and a colt named Premium and Stallion Prospect. In 2016, all 6 foals bred by RSF were named Premium, out of which, 2 were named Foals of Distinction and one stallion prospect was named. The top filly at the 2016 NY AHS inspection was sired by Dheputy. His foals are very much stamped by their sire in conformation, movement and temperament. We are headed toward retirement or this fabulous mare would not be for sale. http://www.rollingstonefarm.com/listman/listings/l0067.shtml Mo Swanson (610) 767-4852

Well, the annual GOV Mare Performance Test is over and I am proud to say that I have 5 more Special Premium Mares! The test was last Wed, but it took a little time to verify the scores. Thank you to our judges Tommy Rhinow and Holy Simensen. Thanks also to Cara Klothe and Kim Kobrin-Callaway for the good riding, Dawn Coffey for the grooming and free jump help, Nick Bleiler for the good handling, Dennis Moore for the good pies, apples and unfailing encouragement, Sue Casale for videotaping and Stacy Lynne for the photography which I hope will soon be coming. The farm could not function without Dale Andrews, who kept the farm running behind the scene and helped in the free jump chute, and I have to mention my honey, Jim, who handled horses in the chute, cooked, cleaned (yes he did!) and was a super host. Phew! Now busy doing sales videos since most of these mares will be for sale. Here are the new Sp. Pr. Candidates: Shusquehanna (Shakespeare RSF/DeNiro/Rohdiamant), top overall score, high score under saddle; Lhucerne (Licotus/Rotspon/Armin) 2nd place overall, high score free jumping; Hhemlock (Hotline/Loerke/Waltzertraum Moon) 3rd overall; Shavannah (Sir James/Royal Prince/Wallstreet Kid) 4th overall; Dhanube (Destano/Londonderry/Wolkentanx II) 6th overall, 8.5 rideability, 8 canter

It looks like it soon will be official- Shakespeare RSF and Marcus Orlob are USDF Reserve Champions at Intermediare II. Thank you, Marcus for the skilled and tactful riding and training and the excellent care of my precious homebred! Plus, I imported as a weanling and sold as a three year old the 3rd placed horse. I will report on the other national placings but I am so proud of this one!

Shuper Mario Aug 2016 at a local schooling dressage show. 4 year old, 16.3 h PREMIUM GOV gelding

We have had a busy few weeks, taking young horses off property for schooling and recognized dressage shows. "Put your money where your mouth is", my mother always used to say. Many thanks to our local shows for having us and many thanks to Cara Klothe for her good riding. We had a 70%'s Shakespeare RSF theme going on! On August 16 and 17, we took my young 5 year old GOV fully approved stallion Shavane (Shakespeare RSF/EM Rheporter-Royal Prince) to Red Tail I and II recognized show in NJ. This was his first show. Training level test 2: 71.346% and 72.115%, both first places and show high score. Training level 3: 72.045% and 76.136%, both first places and show high score. On August 23rd, we took 3 year old Dhanube (Destano/Special Premium Lhorna Doone-Londonderry) to a schooling show at Bucks County Horse Park in preparation for Dressage at Devon. She was a bit wide-eyed for her first test (first time ever in a dressage ring, but got a 63.696% in training level test one, but then came into the ring like a pro for her second test (Tr. 2) for a 71.346%. We don't know where she placed (we left and they are VERY slow to post results) but we accomplished what we came for. I love this future broodmare for RSF! Then, if we weren't punished enough, today we went to a local schooling show with Shuper Mario (Shakespeare RSF/EM Fhashion Model-Florencio) and Special Premium Shoshone (Shakespeare RSF/Glimmer-Grundstein). Mario was a pro, since he had already been to one schooling dressage show smile emoticon:-), so he was 2nd in Training 2 (69.615%), & 1st place and show high score in training test 3 with a 73.409%. We also brought Special Premium Shoshone for her first ever trailer ride (she had been broke at RSF as a 3 y.o. and had been used as a broodmare). We survived, she survived and she was awesome in the warmup and in the ring, placing 1st in training test 1 with a 71.957% and 3rd in training test 3 with a 69.615%. Here is the link to Mario's test: https://youtu.be/hxyK-e59nsQ Watch my website for the other videos. I promise to get them up....

Maplewood Warmbloods I breed show report: Special Premium Candidate Shabrina by Shakespeare RSF out of EM Wyneth L (Widmark/Davignon) was Mare Champion, Mature Horse Champion and Reserve Grand Champion with an 85%! (We are very proud...). The other mare we have here is also sired by ShakespeareRSF- Special Premium Candidate Shtiletto out of EM Fhrance (Fabriano/ Wonderful). She was 4th in the Maiden Mares class with a 78% and won the Materiale with a 77%.

We at Rolling Stone Farm had our German Oldenburg inspection on Tuesday, July 26 with super results. We presented 16 foals, all of which were named Premium, with 6 Foals of Distinction (sired by Dante Weltino, 2 Dheputy's, Grey Flanell, Livaldon and Vitalis) and 2 Stallion Prospects named (sired by Dheputy and Grey Flanell). Judges were Holly Simensen and Tommy Rhinow. Many thanks go out to my husband, Jim, our hard working staff of Cara, Kim, Dawn, and Dale, Andy, Quinnten Alston and Nick Bleiler for their excellent handling, Dennis for announcing and Sue for videotaping. Enough said. I have to work on getting videos on my website now!

Shakespeare RSF and Marcus Orlob did it again today at the Global Dressage Festival National show, winning the Intermediare II with a 74.079%. This follows two wins last weekend at GDF 9 at Inter II with a 77.763% and a 74.211%. We have scratched tomorrow's test. It is apparently very hot there and now it's time to take some lessons to concentrate on the pa-pi and Grand Prix work before leaving FL. I am very proud of both Marcus and Shakespeare RSF! Back home in PA, we had our first foal born last night (of 17 due this year). It's a bay filly, very beautiful, by Zonik out of Special Premium Qhuiver (Quaterback/Widmark). Now it begins- love it!!!
