We see metal Barn Stars alot on homes, garages, and even barns. But, do you know how the Barn Star came to be? They orginated in the 1700's within the Amish community and were a way to trademark a barn builders work. The star would be built right into the barn side in the earliest uses and evolved into a star made out of wood and crafted into a star piece of artwork. Today, most are made out of metal and you can get one right here at Glen's! The colors of the stars also have different meanings such as Blue-calm and protection, Red-emotion and creativity, brown-Friendship and strength, and White-Purity and flowing energy.
