What a busy weekend we are going to have: The boy scouts will be using the front lawn on Saturday Morning for a regatta. We'll be starting work on the Christmas Tree Stands. The Brazilian Church will be holding their worship Service. And then there's our lay lead worship service embracing our Gratitude for all God's Gifts.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! 72nd Annual Evergreen Bazaar and Christmas Fair. Saturday December 2 from 10 am to 2 pm. Our Annual Bazaar is simply the best! Get into the Spirit of the Season with our display of nativities from around the world, holiday music, gifts galore, Ye olde Bakery Shoppe, Homemade items, White Elephant, Toy Room, Silent Auction, Children’s Tom Thumb Room, and our Vintage Treasures Room. Enjoy lunch at the Congo Café. Santa and some of his elves will pay a special visit from 11 am to 1 pm. A great time for everyone. All floors of the church are handicap accessible from the High St Parking lot side of the church. Hope to see you there!

AFTER WORSHIP- Pumpkins!!!!!!!!!!! Bring your pumpkin cutting tools and a pumpkin or two to church and we’ll carve hearts into them and string lights to make a Loving Halloween display for the church yard!

SUNDAY October 22 JUMP IN THE CHOIR WEEK! Do you enjoy singing? Do you sometimes sit listening to the choir and think, wouldn't that be fun? This week you are invited to come and join us at 9:00 on Sunday morning before worship to learn a simple song and sing! You don't have to wear a robe or stand and sit in the chancel, just learn the song and come up at the anthem time to sing. Jump in! We'd love to have you! WE HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL THIS SUNDAY AND EVERY SUNDAY! Children begin worship in the Sanctuary with their families. After their time for all the children of the church with Pastor Carol, they will gather in the Parish Hall for a Sunday School Lesson. This Sunday Children will learn how we share love and kindness through our Soup Pantry. Children will hear about the folk tale, “Stone Soup”, pay a game, and help make cookies and cornbread for Pantry Soup. Please keep thinking of a way to share your time with our children ~ It will be a rewarding experience for all ! SUNDAY WORSHIP October 22 at 10 am Hymns: “All Who Hunger, Gather Gladly”, “God of the Fertile Fields”, “I’m Going to Eat at the Welcome Table.” Choir anthem: “There’s Honey in the Rock”; Jeanne Lucas, Choir Director; Margaret Clark, organist; A Time For Children of All Ages: “Stone Soup”; Readings: John 6:1-15; Lay Reader: Milly Worthley; Sermon: “Dinner Impossible”, Pastor Carol preaching. Friendship Hour Hosts: The Rosengrens BAZAAR PLANNING MEETING at 11:15 am. All are welcome!

Please invite family and friends to. Creating a relationship with the Oglala-Sioux-Lakota is very important to the Mission team of the church. PICTORIAL DIRECTORY - Please call the office or Pat Simmons to schedule a photo op. This will be very helpful to our new minister. Everyone gets a free 8x10 and their is no cost.

SATURDAY, OCT 14, 8:30 breakfast - 9:00 – 12:00 program: Discovery Workshop: Taking Stock, which will explore the questions, “Who are we now,” and “Who are our neighbors.” This will start the necessary work for preparing your new church profile by exploring two of the critical questions.Please call the office or email to reserve your spot and so we can make sure we have enough food.
