The Y is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.
www.SaginawYMCA.org Our Impact is Felt Every Day:
With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.

We integrate the four core values of character development into all activities and everything we say and do:

Caring
Honesty
Respect and
Responsibility

We appreciate the sacred gift of a healthy spirit, mind and body.
We recognize the worth of all people and work for interracial understanding.
We encourage all people to be responsible members of their families and of our community.

It is the staff’s responsibility to assist the members and other employees in realizing the purposes of the YMCA.

It is our philosophy that, within the limits of available funding, no individual will be denied access to YMCA memberships, programs or services due to a proven inability to pay the full cost of participation.

To that end, we provide financial assistance to those who need financial help in order to participate in YMCA programs.

Welcome Weston - Wellness Manager Weston Boven is the new Wellness Director, please introduce yourself and help us welcome him to the #Saginaw #YMCA family! Weston is a serial coffee drinker who loves people, their stories, and BBQ. He is equally comfortable in the gym as he is camping in the woods, slicing balls on the golf course, or negotiating bedtimes with his 2 year old. Weston holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University with emphasis in rehabilitative programming and has 10+ years of working experience in clinical, personal and corporate fitness as well as clinical and corporate wellness programming. Weston and his wife, Brittany, have 3 awesomely stubborn yet fearlessly sweet children that keep them on their toes. “I’m a supporter of finding things that make you happy and doing them as much as possible. Unless eating donuts makes you happy; don’t eat donuts as much as possible,” says Weston. WBoven@SaginawYMCA.org (989) 753-7721 ext 209
