Great American Backyard Campout
The National Wildlife Federation promotes National Outdoors Month by supporting campouts all over the country! Here in Raymore, we encourage families to bring out their camping gear and join us for: plant & insect identification, campfire safety, dutch oven cooking and flashlight games.

HEADS UP: This weekend will be a busy one at Recreation Park. We have a number of events that will be going on. Please take some extra time if you are heading to one of these events as we expect large crowds. Friday Night: We are hosting the Raymore-Peculiar School District 5K MAD Dash and a baseball tournament. Saturday: We are hosting a baseball tournament and soccer games. Start times will be around 8 a.m. and games will be done around 8:30 p.m. Sunday: We are hosting a baseball tournament followed by the Parks & Recreation adult softball league. We will also have afternoon soccer games. **Overflow Parking will be in use all weekend.**
