Description
We endeavor to design services that capture the needs of the individual by offering employment training, finding jobs of choice in the community and offering a way to give back to the community through volunteering and participating in community activities. Accessing the community and learning about opportunities hold an important part in the design and delivery of our services. Through participation, individuals build skills and gain knowledge which enables them to make informed decisions about the paths they wish to follow. We work in cooperation with families, guardians, friends, staff, Department of Development Services, and the Division of Medical Assistance to create an atmosphere of respect which supports the individuals in attaining their hopes and aspirations.
We also offer cost-effectice outsourcing solutions to local business, helping them with tasks such as packaging and assembly; individuals attending GROW do the work, get paid for it, and build valuable skills toward future, competive employment.
