Hiking to build hope is pleased to begin unfolding the story of our family wellness campaign with photographs including people from the families here at this gateway community along the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. Here you see a few of the children & a farther out of view tending to their chores of taking care of their sheep. Just one of the many farm cultural relations between livestock, gardens and so much more while living completely independent from main stream society building a happy lifestyle for all. While at the same time these families reach out to the local community helping others including Appalachian Trail Thru-hikers for NO CHARGE Including 3 meals a day, a warm bed in one of the 3 bunk houses accommodating up to 12 hikers and free transport too. They even put a basket on the bunk beds with goods to welcome you into their families hospitality. In return is a little etiquette of time pitching in on their farm property, if a hiker is in need of health restoration, they expect nothing in return but to nurse the hiker back to their health and wellness to get the hikers back in hiking form. Hello Folks, Good Day Slightly raining but never stops a hiker. Hiking To Build Hope here in Virginia hiking the Appalachian Trail bringing you our new beginning of a very challenging Journey to find HOPE in family values wellness healing through nature and much more importantly, bringing awareness of the days gone by of a familiar story, families, friends, the like sitting around a fireside enjoying the sounds of NATURE & the POP, CRACKLE of an evening fireside simple conversation. We will be here at this amazing property where roughly 14 families build this community together every day. They as well eat each and every meal together as a family & community. Welcoming many hikers as well as the general public to come an enjoy the rest of being present during a day or even just a moment. Side Note: Hiking To Build Hope has permissions to take photographs but we are an organic organization that believes in creating HOPE and this we believe can not be rushed but take time, patience and understanding of how quickly life passes us by when we may not see the time passing so quickly, our families grow up then move along, but, our HOPE is more families get out into NATURE this year & talk about the good times.
