The Eagle is a multi-function facility offering a variety of live entertainment options and space rentals for meetings, conferences and special events. The Eagle Movie Theater opened in downtown Pontiac in 1939. In 2013, the City of Pontiac began restoration of the building and the doors to the refurbished Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center opened Fall, 2015. The Vermillion Players are partnering with the City of Pontiac to hold dinner theater performances when not in residence at the historic Chautauqua Park Pavilion. In addition to dinner theater, the space is available for rentals for meetings, special events and conferences. Additional live entertainment options also abound!  There truly is something for everyone at The Eagle!

We had an amazing time this morning with the Washington Grade School Fifth graders! They came to the Eagle for a presentation on Chinese Culture and Music presented by our intern Eva Yang and her friend Katrina Zhu!

Things have been a little quiet this past week, but that's just because we've been busy planning some great upcoming events to share with you! This Friday, April 21 we have the Bernardi's Comedy Night, it's sure to be fun and full of laughs! Then next Saturday, we're bringing Sweet Dreams and Honky Tonks to the stage! Enjoy the classic songs of Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash while also hearing stories of their lives. And on May 7, we have the Route 66 Band performing a concert! Route 66 Band Concert (FREE!)

Join us Sunday, May 7 to celebrate Red Carpet Corridor with a FREE concert by the Route 66 Band! This concert band from the Joliet area will be playing a variety of music to delight all audiences. Doors open at 12:30 and the performance starts at 1:00pm. There is no fee to attend this concert, but donations are always appreciated. All seating will be first come first serve, no reserved seats.
