Stop in to try a week for free. Instruction provided by John Baize, blue belt from Gracie Barra, who opened War Horse to share his love of jiu jitsu. Jiu jitsu has been called the "gentle art" or "human chess." It's a game, but also a self defense system that promotes self control. There is no striking in this martial art. Jiu jitsu is a fun way to build confidence and strength, and a full body workout that engages the mind. Many find that it is a great stress reliever. At War Horse, we pride ourselves on being a great team, treating each other with respect. Jiu jitsu is a lifestyle, not just a fight style.
