Today we celebrate the Annunciation of the Lord. On this feast, we honor Mary for her "yes" to God. In the Angelus we pray: The Angel of the Lord, declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit." Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. March 25th, the usual date for the Annunciation was Palm Sunday this year. Therefore, the celebration was transferred to today, April 9th. #Annunication #BlessedVirginMary

On the Second Sunday of Easter/Divine Mercy Sunday (April 8), we are reminded that we all must be apostles of mercy if we are to witness to the Resurrection of Jesus. “Being apostles of mercy means touching and soothing the wounds that today afflict the bodies and souls of many of our brothers and sisters. Curing these wounds, we profess Jesus, we make him present and alive; we allow others, who touch his mercy with their own hands, to recognize him as “Lord and God” (Jn 20:28), as did the Apostle Thomas. This is the mission that he entrusts to us.” Pope Francis, March 4, 2016.
