The Oil City YMCA is hiring a part time bus driver to transport children to and from the YMCA Younger Days Child Care center this fall. Position is part-time. Why was our Membership Coordinator, Lisa Carter wearing this hard hat on Friday morning? We can tell you this: It was not career day, her job is not that "hard", you cannot hit her with a sledge hammer, she was not going to break out into the Village People dance of the YMCA song and the ceiling was not falling.... It was because she was pretty excited that the New Clarion County YMCA (our sister branch) is breaking ground this month! This project is 5 years in the making and we're pretty excited about it!

Unfortunately there are dozens of local youth waiting for financial aid to attend our Summer Day Camp program. We have totally exhausted our funding this year and have many kids waiting to find out if they can attend. The youth of Venango County need quality programs that will help them reach their potential.
